JEE, NEET Exams 2020 Postponed To September
Looking at the prevailing circumstances of COVID – 19 and requests received from parents and students appearing for #JEE and #NEET exams, a committee consisting of #DG NTA and other experts has been advised to review the situation and submit its recommendation to #HRD ministry latest by 3rd July, 2020.
All the students over the country were waiting for the news of postponement or processing the exams on scheduled date of 18 July – 23 July. The wait is over now. Keeping in mind the safety of students and to ensure quality education, #NTA (National Testing Agency) on behalf of #MHRD decided to postpone the #JEE and #NEET exams. Now, #JEE mains has been rescheduled from 1st September to 6th September, #JEE advanced has been rescheduled to 27th September and #NEET has been rescheduled to 13th September. Also, NTA informed that #JEE advanced result will be declared within 8 days of exam and counselling will start in the first week of October. These exams have been postponed second time this year. These were to be held in April and May.
